Pony Pals
Ponies Need Friends Too
Local barn for therapeutic riding called Throncroft needed a way of interacting with children about their ponies as a way to ease fears and comfort the viewer.
Walk Through
Problem
For parents of children with disabilities, allowing your child to ride a pony can be intimidating. There is also added uncertainty of how their child will react, leading to more anxiety in both the parents and the children. The pony has a mind of it’s own, and can cause major harm to your loved ones.
My Solution
Interactive Pony Story Book Mircosite, that tells the story about Oscar a Thorncorft pony worked together with his rider to win a horse show, through long training and a new found confidence in partnership.
Personal Imput
As a horseback rider myself I still find riding a horse/pony that I do not know anything about is daunting, and causes a large amount of un-need added stress.
